Minecraft Speedrunning Tutorials and Guides

Speedrunning means completing a game as fast as possible. In Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, you beat the game by killing the Ender Dragon. You can do it on a random seed (RSG), a set seed (SSG) or a filtered seed (FSG). You can play on multiple versions, the best for RSG and FSG being 1.16.1.

Good rooms

• stairs are good, go down when you can, just not too far down
• 4 ways are good
• 5/6 ways are good
• long hallways (such as the jail rooms) are good

Bad rooms

• small rooms like corners are bad

Tips

• go about 8-10 rooms deep in each direction
• if starter has multiple directions, try to go the most isolated way
• if all ways seem equally isolated and there are no stairs, go down mid bc it lowers at least a couple blocks
• 2 directions off the same wall in starter are almost always bad, and often instant dead ends
• if there are 4 directions off starter, the one isolated on it's own wall is best
